This month (November 2021), Amey announced the end of their Walkaway Scheme, which will see military families without an approved contractor to prepare your SFA on deployment, saying:
“From 1st February 2022 we will no longer be running the Walkaway Scheme. This means you will be unable to book a move-out appointment after 31st January 2022. The Walkaway Scheme mailbox will remain open until 14th February 2022 to help with any ongoing queries.
Move-out dates scheduled after this date will result in a cancellation and a refund being processed. If you have to delay your appointment due to operational reasons, such as moved deployment date, we will be unable to book any date that falls after 31st January. This again will result in a cancellation and refund. We will be unable to action refunds after end March 2022.” Amey Defence Services

How much does the March Out service cost?
Prices for March Outs vary depending on the type of home we are asked to clean.
2 bedrooms: from £275
3 bedrooms: from £300
4 bedrooms: from £335 - £410
Group Captain’s home: from £540.
There may be an extra charge for additional rooms such as utilities, dining rooms and conservatories.
